A Swag Bag Can Say a Lot

When we worked with RASA on the welcome experience for their founding sixth-grade class, we kept coming back to one question:

How do we make sure students can feel that we were ready for them?

The swag bags were one answer.

Not because a bag of stuff creates school culture, it doesn’t. But details matter. A student walking into a brand-new school and receiving something that was already packed, branded and waiting for them says:

We knew you were coming and you belong here.

Inside, we included a mix of RASA-branded pieces, notebook and a pin.

We weren’t just making swag, we were thinking about the full arrival: what students see, what they receive, how the school feels, and what all of those little moments communicate together.
